Can Big 3 Hold Down Surging Warriors?
Healthier roster, only 2 playoff losses, improved chemistry. What can the Cavaliers ask for more? The eastern conference champions trail the 2016 NBA championship 2 games to none to the Golden State Warriors, the team that defeated them in last year’s finals.
Losing back to back in large deficits is always a painful way to start the NBA championship.
But how painful can that be to Lebron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love?
Fans in Oakland doubled their expectation from last year’s finals hopes to this 2nd meeting of the warriors and the cavaliers in the NBA finals, because Cavs is already bolstered with the presence of 2 of its big 3 in Love and Irving, leaving James alone due to injuries in last year’s finals that handled James another loss in his NBA finals career.
But with Irving and Love’s presence, their team is still down 2 games to none. Still give credit to dubs systematic and fluid offense spearheaded by back to back NBA MVP Stephen Curry, his splash brother Klay Thompson, and the team’s heart and soul, Draymond Green.
Can the big 3 turn off the warriors firepower? Can Lebron live up to his title as “the best player in the world?” Can Love and Irving carry the load they needed to bring? Or will they let Curry and the dubs get that 2nd title of their young careers? What’s missing? Can the Cavs still do it?
