An Italian café with over 70 international branches, Hausbrandt café at Escario is the first in Cebu. For its Brew Your Own Coffee (BOYC) promo, guests can create their own coffee using a cafetera –an Italian utensil for brewing coffee. There are four available flavors to choose from, namely: Moka or Espresso, Americano, Caffe Latte, and Cappuccino.

Hausbrandt is a coffee shop which started in Trieste, Italy- an area of Italy near Austria. The close vicinity between these two countries is the reason why this Italian café has a Dutch or German sounding name. Belliarte –the name of the owner and the company- revolutionized the process of creating coffee. He invented the moka pot or cafetera -an Italian utensil for creating coffee. Instead of the usual tap-down version of regular coffee machines, the cafetera boils water at the bottom of the pot and the steam rises to a strainer filled with moka or powdered Arabica beans.

Solely distributed in the Philippines through the owners of Parklane Hotel Cebu, these two Italian brands are set to rock the Cebu coffee scene.
