Boracay Makes 2nd spot in Travel Site’s 10 Best Island Beaches for Partying
Manila (PNA) — US travel website Conde Nast Traveler (CNT) has named the Philippines’ Boracay Island as among the 10 best island beaches for partying in 2015, besting its Asian neighbors. According to its official website, the world’s best beaches to eat, drink and play were chosen by non-other than Conde Nast Traveler readers themselves.
White Beach in Boracay clinched the second spot, only trailing behind Baie de Saint-Jean in St. Barts, which topped the list.
“Despite its sand–as fine and as white as powder–and its blue waters, Boracay remains a vastly overlooked island destination in Asia,” Conde Nast wrote.
“Those in the know, however, flock to the island in droves for relaxation and merrymaking in equal parts,” it further said.
The site also spoke highly of White Beach being “perfect for both sunbathing and dining.”
“Most restaurants will set up tables right on the beach, so you can dine with sand in your toes and watch the sun set, fruity cocktail in hand. Restaurant Sirena, at Shangri-La Boracay is excellent,” it added.
The rundown of best island beaches for partying are as follows:
10. Super Paradise Beach, Mykonos, Greece
9. Seven Mile Beach, Negril, Jamaica
