Bloodletting Highlights Civil Service Celebration in South Cotabato
Koronadal City, South Cotabato – A bloodletting activity will underscore the 116th Civil Service anniversary celebration in South Cotabato.
Atty. Venus Ondoy, director of the Civil Service Commission South Cotabato Field Office, said the bloodletting activity will be held at the conference of the Department of Education South Cotabato Schools Division Office on Friday, Sept. 9.
Ondoy is appealing to all able-bodied South Cotabateños to donate blood that may save lives.
The bloodletting activity on Friday will be the 4th such activity that the CSC-South Cotabato Field Office has spearheaded in line with the celebration of the Civil Service Month.
In 2013, some 52 individuals were able to donate blood, 68 in 2014 and 82 in 2015.
Atty. Ondoy hopes they will be able to collect blood from at least 100 persons this year.
The 116th Civil Service Anniversary celebration is anchored on the theme: “Sigaw ng Lingkod Bayani: Malasakit para sa Taumbayan, Kapwa Kawani, at Kalikasan.” (DEDoguiles-PIA 12)
