BlockchainSpace and Smart Join Forces to Revolutionize Web3 Adoption in the Philippines

BlockchainSpace, a Southeast Asian Web3 community enabler, has partnered with Smart Communications, the leading telecommunications provider in the Philippines, to explore Web3-powered solutions that will connect communities, unlock new opportunities, and drive growth for all stakeholders.

According to Peter Ing, CEO of BlockchainSpace, this partnership marks a significant milestone for Web3 adoption in the Philippines and beyond. “Filipinos have been at the forefront of utilizing Web3 since the peak of the pandemic. Through this partnership, BlockchainSpace and Smart will continue to build on that foundation by enabling more communities to connect in a truly open, meaningful, and secure manner,” Ing said.

BlockchainSpace was founded in Makati City in 2018 and initially focused on organizing in-person gatherings for Web3 investors and founders, fostering the growth of the crypto industry in the region. Over time, the company evolved into a Web3 solutions provider, supporting Southeast Asia’s communities with more than just blockchain technology.

Since 2020, BlockchainSpace has empowered over 100 communities and raised $20 million from top investors.
