Birdhouse in Amsterdam Gives Free WiFi
Amsterdam, is usually in line with fresh air, and has been very low in level in terms of pollution.
But Amsterdam had a very big and a surprising problem, its air quality. Having ranked D+ by the Dutch capital, thanks in part to its failure to implement a low emissions zone for private vehicles, as other European cities have done.
One local designer made something interesting: he designed tree houses that light up and emit free wifi whenever the Air pollution level decreases to safe.
Joris Lam, the designer of the innovative design, said, “I wanted to make something that measures air pollution locally and also makes the issue visible in an understandable, human-centric way.”
