BFP Warns Vs. Electrical Overload During Holidays

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reminded the public against overloading their houses’ electrical systems by plugging in too many appliances during the holidays.

GMA News Online reported that in Davao City, an electrical overload was blamed for a fire that razed four houses in Barangay Dumanlas in the city’s Buhangin district Thursday. Reports added the fire started at the second floor of the house of Mely Nones, and spread quickly. Firefighters needed two hours to put out the fire.
