BAYANIHAN AND PERLAS AWARDS

Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. President Roberto Aboitiz (holding certificate) and Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama (to Aboitiz’s right) lead Mega Cebu officials and representatives in receiving the Bayanihan sa Daan Award at the Kalayaan Hall of the Malacañang Palace last November 27.The ‘Award’ recognized individuals, local government units, and civil society organizations promoting road sharing for pedestrians, environment-friendly transport, and sustainability.

Dominica B. Chua, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. chief operating officer, proudly displays the trophy the foundation received as awardee during the 26th Perlas Awards of Philippines Foundation. The two other awardees were SM Foundation and University of Cebu. Perlas Awards recognizes deserving individuals and institutions who have made a difference in the community by their leadership, involvements and efforts. RAFI, SM Foundation Inc., and University of Cebu were recognized for their relief and restoration programs for the survivors of two major calamity last year.
