Baldebrin Remains, Says Cortes
Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes wants Supt. Petronelli Baldebrin to remain as Mandaue City Police Office (MCPO) director, saying he still has full trust to the official.
This was what Cortes told reporters shortly after he took his oath Sunday. The mayor said he is satisfied as to how Balderin keeps the city peaceful and how he manages to fight crimes. If there are problems, the mayor said, these are just very minute that needs a “little fine tuning”.
For his part, Baldebrin said he is grateful for the mayor’s continued trust and that it does not only give him a tap on the back but it also boasts the morale of the entire MCPO. He also thanked Cortes for his support, and assured that while he is still in commands of the MCPO, they will improve their crime prevention activities to ensure that the city remains safe and peaceful to live in.
