Badian, Moalboal Barangay Workers Get Cash Incentives

Some 856 barangay volunteer workers in Badian and Moalboal towns received cash incentives from the provincial government last December 1.

Governor Hilario P. Davide III thanked the barangay workers for their contribution as front liners in the social services.

Vice Governor Agnes Magpale and Provincial Board Member Peter John Calderon also attended the distribution in their respective municipal covered courts.

The barangay health workers also received their new uniform shirts.

There were 534 barangay health workers, barangay nutrition scholars (BNS), tanods, day care workers (DCW), barangay animal health aides (BAHA) in Badian.

In Moalboal, there were 322 barangay workers. Municipal Mayor Inocentes Cabaron thanked provincial officials for the assistance not only for the cash incentives.

Cabaron showed a list of projects funded by the Capitol in the barangays in his town. This includes water system, school buildings, senior citizen’s building, box culvert, among others.

He was also thankful for the socio-cultural assistance given by the office of the governor.

The municipality also received Php 140 million road project from the national government. This was through the Department of Tourism-Department of Public Works and Highways Tourism Convergence Program.
