AsusPro BU201 is a Business-Class Notebook
ASUS has introduced its latest business-class portable notebook – the AsusPro BU201.
The 12.5-inch notebook has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, 12GB RAM, a 2.5-inch drive bay, up to 1TB of hard drive storage or 500GB of storage alongside 8GB of solid state storage.
The notebook comes with Core i5 or Core i7 options, Intel HD 4400 or 5000 graphics, and Windows 7, Windows 8.1, or Windows 8.1 Pro software.
Other specs include a trio of USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet jack, a VGA port, a mini DisplayPort, a Smart Card Reader, a micro SIM card slot, TPM security and a fingerprint reader.
The AsusPro BU201 weighs 2.8 pounds, and has anti-shock hard drive protection, a spill-resistant keyboard, and a case that’s been military-spec tested.
Additionally, there is also a pointing stick in the center of the keyboard, making one think back of the classic IBM ThinkPad designs in the days gone by, which will come in handy as it works alongside a standard notebook touchpad.
