ASUS Announces New ROG Phone

The latest attempt on creating a smartphone dedicated to gaming is now on ASUS, as the company announces the ROG Phone at Computex 2018.

The ROG phone, which packs massive mobile gaming specs in a device that can easily be placed in your pocket, will also have features that is unique to the phone such as squeezing the phone itself to enter a “gaming mode” which will kill all background apps and optimize RAM and GPU usage to the game opened in the device.

Aside from the built-in “AirTriggers” on the edge of the phone, different accessories will be available for the ROG phone to achieve optimal gaming experience. Accessories available include a device for desk docking, a separate accessory to give the phone a second screen a la Nintendo 3DS style, physical triggers, and others such as dual haptic feedback.
