Approaching Typhoon Could Hamper Easter Weekend Trips
PAGASA said Wednesday that approaching typhoon ‘Maysak’ could hamper this Easter weekend’s return trips of Filipinos who spent the Holy Week in the provinces.
PAGASA’s Gener Quitlong also said the weather bureau’s projections indicate Typhoon Maysak could start affecting the country as early as Good Friday, GMA News Online report said.
Maysak is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) Wednesday night or Thursday morning. Once it does, it will be locally codenamed “Chedeng.”
