Apple Releases Free Schoolwork App

On June 26 this year, Apple released the free application Schoolwork geared towards personalizing learning and inspiring creativity in the classroom setting via technology.

The modern Schoolwork app provides features that make it easier for teachers to create assignments, deliver announcements with content like web links and PDFs attached, collaborate with students, and view student progress across activities. Generally, it helps build new and efficient learning experiences for students.

Students can also utilize the app to keep track of assignments and deadlines, and stay organized as a result.

To secure privacy, security features are built in as well.

Well-known educational applications such as Tynker, GeoGebra, Explain Everything, and Kahoot! work with Schoolwork for relevant educational content and efficient tools.

Apple’s Schoolwork, together with their Classroom app, offer teachers worldwide an avenue for making a more effective school experience whilst incorporating tech in a healthy and daily basis. (Adapted by Lara Angeli Eviota)
