An “Iconic Tower” Proposed in SRP

We may be able to see an iconic tower soon to rise at the South Road Properties as a private company proposed its construction to the Cebu City government.

In a Facebook post by Cebu City Public Information Office, a 155-floor tower is proposed to rise at the South Road Properties (SRP).

The height of the said iconic tower is said to be about 490 meters.

“155-floor tower design, which would be constructed at the SRP. This proposed tower will include a 15-story hotel and a three-story luxury complex with three levels of 360-degree viewing decks, an observatory, and two revolving restaurants on a three-hectare lot with parks all over and a dancing water fountain,” Cebu City PIO said in a Facebook post.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama has welcomed the said project, however, the approval of the project still needs to be discussed with stakeholders.

The said project is a Private Public Partnership (PPP) where the Cebu City government will pay for any part of the construction.
