Almond & Banana Smoothie Recipe
A large glass of smoothie for breakfast will assure your hunger pangs arise only during lunch time. Nita Mehta, a celebrity Chef shares an easy smoothie recipe from her newly launched cookbook, Milkalicious. All you need is healthy tetra pak milk, almonds and banana.
Ingredients
● 2 tbsp ground almonds (almond powder)
● 2 cups cold milk (preferably pasteurized tetra pak milk is ideal)
● 1⁄4 tsp cinnamon powder
● 10-12 ice cubes
● 1 tbsp honey, or to taste
● 1⁄2 ripe banana – chopped
Method:
● If ground almonds are unavailable, grind 1⁄4 cup almonds in a small coffee grinder to a powder.
● Put 2 tbsp ground almonds with half of a banana. Blend till smooth.
● Add all the other ingredients to the mixer.
● Check sweetness and add more honey as per your taste.
● Serve sprinkled with a pinch of cinnamon powder if you like.
