Sugar Kissed is a Cebu-based online shop for customized and hand-made accessories to fit every Cebuana’s needs. Sisters Christianne and Iris Bohol decided to put up this girl haven when a surprise wave of customers came in after posting a photo of a handmade hairpiece on Facebook.

“Our mom was into the shell and woodcraft business, maybe we got it from her,” Christianne said.

Three years after their first online business venture, the sisters now have loyal customers who can’t help but get hooked with what Sugar Kissed has to offer. Their handmade accessories have also caught the eyes (and hearts) of celebrated fashion bloggers like Laureen Uy.

“The best thing about this business is that your clients become your friends,” Iris said.

What’s more, Sugar Kissed also caters to brides who want the little details on their special day to matter. They do customized headpieces for the entourage, so with charming invites and pillows, all those things that could make a wedding one of a kind.

With Sugar Kissed accessories now topping the must-have list of almost every Cebuana, Christianne and Iris are working on a plan to build their own website and are also open to opportunities of putting up a physical shop in the near future.

The sisters told MetroCebu News the secret is “to add identity” to the accessories because clients would always look for something personal and at the same time, unique in everything they wear.

“Fashion is what you buy, but style is how you wear it. It’s important to be confident with yourself,” Christianne adds.
