Adobe Introduces 3D Printing Tool in Photoshop

Published

on

Adobe has introduced 3D printing capabilities to its Photoshop software that will allow designers to print out three-dimensional models and designs – provided that they need to gain access to a 3D printer before that can be done.

Adobe Systems Inc. stated that the 3D printing function would be available as an update to Photoshop Creative Cloud, which happens to be its subscription-based software.

Photoshop users are able to print 3D designs locally if they have a 3D printer, or to take advantage of an online 3D printing service, such as MakerBot Replicator or Shapeways.

Three-dimensional models and prototypes happen to be used by a broad range of professionals, where among them are architects, furniture designers, jewelry makers and animators.

Folks in the field of 3D animation might want to check out this latest capability, and it might even be a new revenue stream if you manage to make it big.
