Actor-model Leads Sunlife Tri-Team in Ironman 70.3 Triathlon
Sunlife of Canada (Philippines) Inc. has introduced its triathlon team leads by their endorser Piolo Pascual for tomorrow’s Ironman 70.3 Triathlon, this time it is not only securing insurance and financial services but also waving up the banner of its triathlon team.
The actor-model Pascual will involve in a two-loop, 56-mile course in the popular sporting event as he is the team’s designated cyclist in the male relay race.
This would be the first time for Pascual to join Ironman under the Sunlife banner.
The 37 year-old Pascual made biking as his bonding activity with his son Inigo, who is a Sunlife brand ambassador himself.
Pascual is the endorser of the Sunlife Philippines for 10 years.

Sunlife Tri-team, who is a second-timer at the Ironman Triathlon, went regional this year with athletes from the Netherlands on board.
The Filipino members of the team include the Pascuals and his teammates in the all-male relay race Jan Michael Chiu (swim) and Antonio Ty (run); Karen Jonas (swim), Ray Alejandro (bike), and Michael Manuel (run) who are vying in the mixed relay category; and Kristoffer Patron, Philip Casanova, and Don Gutierez will participate in the individual category.
Leading the pack are the Sunlife Hongkong President Wim Hekstra, Adriaan Lanser, Derk van den Heuvel, and Mark te Riele, who will compete in the individual category.
