Acoustic Mondays

Handuraw Events Café in coordination with SC Twenty One- Three presents Acoustic Mondays for the whole month of August 2015.

To perform on August 3, 2015 for Acoustic Mondays will be Nigel Mendel. Then on Aug. 10, 2015 will be the acoustic performance of Carl Ferrer.

August 17, 2015 will have Lourdes and Drae Cerna.

August 24, 2015 is scheduled for Impune and The Merry Men.

August 31, 2015 for Ginsync and Periodic Table.

Acoustic music is music that solely or primarily uses instruments that produce sound through acoustic means, as opposed to electric or electronic means.

It has its origins in the folk music of the 1960s. Following the increasing popularity of the television show MTV Unplugged during the 1990s, acoustic who usually rely on electronic instruments became colloquially referred to as “unplugged” performances. The trend has also been dubbed as “acoustic rock” in some cases.
