Accenture Receives Regional Awards for Innovative and Sustainable Practices in the PH

Accenture is committed to driving innovative and sustainable practices that bring value to the industry, its employees, and the communities it serves.

Affirming its industry leadership position, Accenture received recognition from three prestigious organizations in Asia namely:

Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) Green Leadership Award. Accenture received the award for achieving efficient operations through innovation and people empowerment programs. In line with its global environmental and sustainability goals, Accenture aimed to reduce its carbon footprint and increase energy efficiency through a series of initiatives that harness technologies in developing innovative and energy-efficient solutions. In addition, Accenture embarked on a robust eco-management program where its employee network of eco-champions participated in various environmental projects in the Philippines. Organized by Enterprise Asia, a non-government organization for entrepreneurship, the AREA program recognizes and honors Asian businesses for championing sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship in various categories.

Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Awards. Organized by the MORS Group, this year’s ACES Awards acknowledged Accenture’s commitment to implement responsible business strategies that impact its people, clients, communities, and the environment through various corporate citizenship initiatives in the Philippines. The company was named a Top Sustainability Advocate, while its Country Managing Director in the Philippines, Lito Tayag, was named an Eminent Leader in Asia for 2020. Tayag was selected for his leadership skills in driving innovation to build diverse talent in the Philippine IT-BPM industry and in transforming client businesses in the digital age.

Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards. The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards presented Accenture with a total of five “Stevies” for its innovation-led approach in implementing business and communications initiatives in the country. Accenture in the Philippines bagged Gold Awards in three categories: Excellence in Innovation in Business Product and Service Industries for its digital transformation story; Most Innovative Marketing Team of the Year for strategic marketing initiatives for the digital world; Innovation in Human Resources Management, Planning & Practice for its talent training and development programs to drive innovative mindset and culture among its employees. For the Silver Awards categories, Accenture received a citation for Innovation in the Use of Events as part of its efforts to redefine recruitment marketing and for Innovation in Internal Communications Videos to showcase inspiring technology work for the company’s millennial employees.
