Abbott Introduces New Drug for Diabetes

To respond to the growing diabetes epidemic, Abbott introduced Glucerna Triple Care, a specialized nutrition product for people with prediabetes and diabetes, in the Philippines.

This new formula is said to provide a unique combination of ingredients to help patients manage their blood sugar levels while supporting heart health and weight management, as part of an overall diabetes management plan.

Diabetes, which affects about 371 million people worldwide, hence the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) estimates that unless rapid action is taken, one person in ten will have diabetes by 2030.
