A US-based non-government organization will give free training to volunteer groups how to chlorinate water which is necessary during disasters.

WaterStep, a non-profit organization from Louisville, Kentucky, USA, is set to give the free training today until Dec. 16 at the Cebu Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce in MC Briones Street, Cebu City. WaterStep is targeting to help NGOs which are involved in relief operations. It train interested individuals and groups on how to install and operate an M-100 chlorine generator and a water purifier, which are needed in areas ravaged by calamities. The group will also donate several of its water purifiers to NGOs as part of its goal to provide safe drinking water specially in quake-hit Bohol and typhoon-devastated Leyte and Samar.
