A Madness Most Discreet –A Poetry Reading

Literary groups TINTA – Up Cebu and The Nomads present A Madness Most discreet – A Poetry Reading this February 28, 2015 5:00pm at Handuraw Café Gorordo.

This poetry reading event will have performances from both literary groups and will also welcome anyone who wishes to pour out their sappiness. So it’s an open mic event this Saturday afternoon.

A poetry reading is a public oral recitation or performance of poetry. A public reading is typically given on a small stage in a café or bookstore.

Poetry readings almost always involve poets reading their own work or reciting it from memory—the recitation of a work by another poet is normally the act of a well-known poet who chooses to read a few poems by lesser-known poets or old friends that the poet feels should be more widely recognized.

Handuraw Pizza Gorordo is located at 460 Gorordo Ave., Brgy. Kamputhaw, Cebu City. Entrance to the event is free.
