A Fashion Necessity: Cardigans
Who doesn’t love cardigans? More importantly, who doesn’t own one?
A cardigan, or otherwise known as a ‘pull together’ is a type of knit shirt that has an open front. Just like your favorite jeans, cardigans are considered a timeless fashion accessory. It’s not exactly surprising that a lot of women and men stroll the street wearing a cardigan. Why shouldn’t they? Cardigans serve a lot of benefits. They add color to any outfit. Why settle for jeans and a tee when you can compliment your outfit with a cardigan?
Cardigans are good for dressing up or grudging down. You can wear them on ordinary days or on special occasions. You’ll also be ready for any weather. Who says you have to look shabby or bloated to stay comfortable or toasty? They tone down your outfit. If you’re wearing a skimpy dress, you can wear a cardigan to tone it down for a more tasteful look.
There are many ways to change up your wardrobe with different types of cardigans such as:
*Long Cardigan.* This laid-back style can be loose or tight-fitted. Suitable for casual days or for running errands.
*Cropped Cardigan. *Perfect for pairing it up with a simple dress or a long top.
*Boyfriend Cardigan.* It’s the same length a guy would wear. It’s great for adding more “oomph!” in simple skimpy jeans and tee combination.
*Short-sleeved Cardigan.* It’s not only cute, but it’s also comfortable to wear especially during those warm days.
*Knitted Cardigans.* Essential for those cold, rainy season or simply going to the movies.
Here are a few tips on how to wear cardigans:
• Wrap a belt around the waist to give it that V-neck look
• Accessorize with a brooch
• With a skirt or shorts
• With boots
• With a turtleneck sweater
Believe me, there are so many ways to wear a cardigan. All you need is a little creativity. Even celebrities love cardigans! Don’t miss out!
