A Delightful Night with Canon Philippines President

Guests and visitors met for a delightful dinner along with the new President & CEO of Canon Philippines Lim Kok Hin, at the San Martin Hall of Raddison Blu Hotel Cebu.

Lim Kok Hin have been with Canon for more 20 years. He held several management positions at Canon Malaysia and was promoted as Senior Director of Business Imaging Solutions (BSI) at Canon Singapore Pte Ltd (CSPL).

Lim holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bradford in the United Kingdom.

In an interview, Lim explained the increase in sales with high-end cameras like Canon hobbies camera or SLR, and high featured cameras with greater zooming capability are growing due to the demands for good quality pictures.

With his visit, he added he wants to experience Cebu through its local delicacies. Lim more than just a leader, he also loves to travel, and eat local foods.

More so, Canon is proud to announce their Canon PIXMA Inkjet as the No.1 Print Inkjet in 2013. This based in unit sales, according to the International Data Corporation (IDC).

Canon also won a Gold Award under the the multi-function printer/copier category at the Reader’s Digest Asia Trusted Brands ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Galleria.

More than just a recognized brand, Canon Marketing Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) joined the bayanihan efforts of Gawad Kalinga (GK) by participating in the Bayani Challenge project. The two-month long bayani challenge gathered one million volunteers to rebuild the provinces affected by natural calamities and other forms of adversities.

“Canon has always been an active supporter of Gawad Kalinga and we are committed to advocate nation-building through volunteerism…We are happy to reach out to those in need by supporting Bayani Challenge” said Ernalou Del Rosario – Corporate Communications Manager of CMPI.
