Capitol Donates Lot to HPG and CIDG
The Cebu Provincial Government donated a 1,358 square-meter, province-owned land to the Philippine National Police (PNP) to serve as permanent office for the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).
The HPG and CIDG will receive 679 square-meters each. The lot is adjacent to each other and is the located at the Camp Soltero Cabahug, Gorordo, Cebu CIty.
The HPG and CIDG have occupied the lots for many years, said real property consultant Paul Entera. The PNP asked for the lot so they could construct buildings on it, Entera added.
Cebu Provincial Governor Hilario Davide III signed the deed of donation while PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde will also sign the documents once it reached his office in Camp Crame.
Also present in the ceremony were Chief Supt. Roberto Fajardo, HPG director; Sr. Supt. Robert Mesa, HPG regional; Supt Lito Patay, CIDG 7 director; and Sr. Supt Royina Garma, CCPO director. (Cebu Provincial Government)
