Fire Burns 10 Apartment Units in Lahug
10 2-storey apartment units occupied by active police officers were burned in PC Hills, Apas, Lahug, Cebu City on August 18, 2018.
The fire alarm was received by the Cebu City fire department at 4:54 a.m. and was declared fire under control at 5:26 a.m.
According to Nagiel Bañacia, Head of Cebu City Disaster Risk and Management Office, 7 units were totally burned and 3 units were burned partially.
Bañacia also said that 2 were injured in the fire, one with a possible dislocated ankle and the other injured individual suffered a second degree burn.
The estimated damage of the fire was pegged to be P300,000.
The cause of the is yet to be determined by fire investigators. (ASC)
