Cebu City Gov’t Holds Go Negosyo Iskolar sa Sugbo Seminar
The Cebu City Government through the Local School Board Office conducted the first ever Go Negosyo Iskolar sa Sugbo seminar-workshop held recently at the Cebu City Hall.
Go Negosyo, Iskolar sa Sugbo seminar-workshop, which is a product of the Events Management Seminar held last March, this year, aims to open the minds of the scholars not to limit themselves on employment.
Deputy Mayor for Education, Hon. Joy Augustus Young, shares his inspiring experience emphasizing that “you have to start from the bottom and be creative when it comes to opening a business.” “You need to have confidence… Nothing is impossible,” said Hon. Young.
Department of Manpower, Development and Placement (DMDP) Head Fidel Magno and Jean Marie Brual were among the guests speakers during the seminar-workshop.
Clarence Jacques Lim; an online entrepreneur and Prisca Niña Mabatid; CEO of PinoyCare Visa Center also shared their journey towards the success of their respective businesses.
During the afternoon session, Kevin Chua from the Cebu City Call Center Program introduced the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) opportunities to the scholars.
The participants were asked to make a presentation of their own product where they applied their knowledge from the marketing plan lecture of Claire Ann Daño.
