MCCI Holds Monthly Talks with Mandaue Mayor
More than 30 members of the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) joined in the first monthly dialogue of the year with Mandaue City Mayor Gabriel Luis “Luigi” Quisumbing on Feb. 13.
In the event dubbed as Mandaue Talks with Business (MTB), the member-companies gathered at Foton in Mandaue City to raise questions and concerns affecting the business sector, such as traffic management, safety and security, business processing, policies and codes, garbage collection, infrastructure development, fire prevention, and law enforcement.
“If we partner with the government, we acquire competitive advantage,” MCCI President Stanley Go said.
For Quisumbing, he wanted to emphasize how supportive the Mandaue City government is of the business sector.
“The better your companies are doing, the healthier Mandaue City is,” he told the participants.
The breakfast meeting was sponsored by the automotive sector members of MCCI.
The Chamber is also inviting other companies to join MCCI to be able to participate in exclusive sessions like MTB. For inquiries, contact Cyruz Honoridez at 343-3491 or email info.mandauechamber@gmail.com.
