Magnitude 5.6 Earthquake Strikes Off Coast of Vanuatu
An earthquake measuring 5.6 magnitude on the Richter scale was recorded off the coast of Vanuatu on Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
The USGS said the quake hit 108 km east of Port-Olry in the island nation at a depth of 12.5 km at 10:58 a.m. AEDT (2358 GMT Tuesday).
