PAL Completes 1st International Flight at Clark
The Philippine Airlines (PAL) completed its first international flight at the Clark International Airport on Monday upon the arrival of its Airbus A321 from Incheon, South Korea at 1:55 a.m.
The flag carrier launched the new Clark-Incheon route on January 1, 2017.
The daily service departs Clark at 4:45 p.m. and arrives in Incheon 9:40 p.m. The return flight leaves Incheon at 10:50 p.m., and touches down in Clark at 1:55 a.m. the following day.
The airline said international flights out of Kalibo will also be launched within the first quarter of 2017.
We will operate more flights outside of Manila not just to decongest the NAIA [Ninoy Aquino International Airport] but mainly to offer convenience to passengers who need not travel to Manila for their desired flights,” PAL president Jaime Bautista said in a statement. (PNA)LAP/ZST/MDDR
