SanDisk will Release High Capacity Storage SD Cards
To all camera operators, drone operators and enthusiasts, no more switching to almost 3 SD cards for a day shoot and fun, SanDisk will release ultra high capacity SD cards.
The company announced last June 29 that it will be releasing a new line of 256GB microSD cards.
These include the 256GB SanDisk Extreme microSDXC UHS-I card, which is the fastest microSD card in its class, and the SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card Premium Edition, the first mainstream model among 256GB microSD card types.
The SanDisk Extreme can store up to 14 hours of 4K video. It also has a read rate of 100 Megabytes per second (MB/s) and a write speed of 90 MB/s.
The SanDisk Ultra, meanwhile, has a slightly lower read speed of 95 MB/s, but can still take in about 24 hours of full HD video.
