Published

on

Rains are expected in most parts of the country on Tuesday due to the presence of southwest monsoon or hanging habagat, the dominant weather system affecting the country, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

For Tuesday forecast, the southwest monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Light to moderate winds coming from the south to southwest will prevail over the rest of Luzon and from the southeast to south over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas.

The state weather bureau has not issued gale warning as the fisherfolks are safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JMC/CLTC
