JVR Refutes Report of His ‘Alleged Death’

Talisay City Mayor-elect Johnny V. Delos Reyes (JVR) denied reports that he was shot to death last Sunday night.

Delos Reyes’ statement came after text messages were received by media men stating of his death. But the mayor-elect only laughed and said that around the time he was reported dead he was with his son and some friends driving around Talisay. He said he did not know who could have sent such kind of message, and if it’s a black propaganda he does not see any reason why it had to be done.
