Manila — The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) announced on Monday that it recently PhilHealth tied up with the PhilHealth to facilitate payments for the said health insurance in more than a thousand PHLPost outlets including postal stations, regular and extensions post offices, mall postal counters, barangay and school-based post offices.
PHLPost offices are visible not just in metropolitan areas but also in the most distant and remote areas of the country.
Meanwhile, PhilHealth has encouraged its members and employers to pay over-the-counter at any PHLPost outlets and other authorized collecting agents.
Postmaster General Josie de la Cruz said the proximity of the post office to local government units, schools, and commercial establishments will provide administrators and business owners the convenience of remitting the monthly premium contributions of their companies and organizations.
