Cebu Cop Named Police Attaché at Philippine Embassy in Malaysia
(PNA) — Senior Superintendent Pablo Labra II, the chief of the intelligence division of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 here, is the new police attache of the Philippine Embassy in Malaysia.
Labra II will assume his new post next month.
His post will be turned over to his deputy, Superintendent Rex Derilo.
Senior Superintendent Rey Lyndon Lawas, PRO 7 acting directorial staff, said Labra is a “big loss” to the police force in Central Visayas.
He said Labra had led several successful operations against illegal drug traders, human traffickers and big-time robbers.
“He had been instrumental in numerous achievements. He was doing good,” Lawas said.
As this developed, National Police Commission (Napolcom) Commissioner Luisito Palmera commended the PRO 7 for its strong ties with the community.
Palmera, who was the guest of honor and speaker at the 20th Police Community Relations celebration at the PRO 7, also noted that crime incidents in the last five months dropped to 39,331 from the 41,353 crime incidents recorded in the same period last year. (PNA) CTB/EB/EDS
