5.4-Magnitude Quake Hits China’s Xinjiang
Beijing (PNA/Xinhua) — A 5.4-magnitude earthquake struck Toksun County, Turpan of northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 3:12 a.m. Thursday (Beijing Time), the China Earthquake Networks Center said.
The epicenter was monitored at 41.7 degrees north latitude and 88.4degrees east longitude, with a depth of 9 kilometers, according to the center. (PNA/Xinhua) FFC/EBP
