PAGASA: Tail-end of Cold Front Brings Rains over parts of N. Luzon
(PNA) — Expect light to moderate rains over the eastern section of Northern Luzon on Wednesday due to the tail end of the cold front, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
In its advisory, PAGASA said the tail-end of a cold front continues affecting the eastern section of Northern Luzon.
The tail-end of a cold front is the front boundary of two air masses, which produces clouds and rain.
Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms while Metro Manila, the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Central Luzon will experience cloudy skies with isolated light rains and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA also said moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.
The weather bureau has not issued gale warning as the sea travel will be safe for fisherfolk and small seacraft. (PNA) LAM/CLTC
