Petron Rolls Back LPG Products by Php5.50; Php3.07 for AutoLPG
(PNA) — Petron rolls back Friday its Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products by Php5.50 per kilogram (kg) and its AutoLPG brand by Php3.07 per liter.
It noted the movement reflects the drop in international contract prices of LPG for this month.
Asian supplier, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Aramco, has reportedly cut contract prices for propane at US$ 1,010 per tonne, a decrease of US$ 90 from December. It was formerly at a contract price of US$ 1,100 in December.
Butane’s contract price had also fell to US$ 1,020 a tonne, lower by US$ 205 from December’s previous rate of US$ 1,225.
The two contract prices will serve as the benchmark for the Asian region.
Propane and Butane are hydrocarbon gas mixtures used as fuel in heating appliances, cooking equipment and vehicles. (PNA)
