Rama to Send Action Team in Samar

Cebu City Mayor Michael L Rama will be sending an action team to Samar tomorrow in order to help and assess the typhoon Ruby stricken areas in the said province.

Hon. Dave Tumulak will be leading the said team composed of the city’s Quick Response Team and volunteers from different city hall departments collectively known as “Action Team for Typhoon Ruby” victims.

They will be bringing in trucks of relief goods and some medical team to help and at the same time to make an assessment of what the city can provide in terms of financial and rehabilitation assistance.

Mayor Rama earlier stressed that the city government will be more willing to help those typhoon ravaged municipalities, as the same thing that the city did before to the victims of typhoon Yolanda last year.

The said team is expected to render a post-assessment report to the mayor for him to evaluate and endorse to the city council for budget consideration. (Cebu City PIO Facebook)
