Cebu Province to Invest in Infra Projects
Two farm-to-market roads, seven provincial roads and a box culvert are among the development projects that the province will embark on anytime before year-end.
Totalling P787,703,500.02, these projects include concreting of the Alegria-Cabangcalan farm-to-market road in Tuburan and the Villahermosa-Daan Secante farm-to-market road in Tudela.
Also included is the concreting of provincial roads such as the Poblacion-Sangi-Bugho road in Magsiko-Bugho in San Fernando; the Monpeller-Tulang road in Argao; the Dakit-Guadalupe road in Bogo City; the Guimbal-Dapdap road in Compostela; the San Francisco-Teguis-Santiago road in Camotes Island; the Nug-as-Libo road that traverses from Alcoy to Alegria; the Bunlan-Camalig-Cabutongan road in Santander; and, the construction of the Cabadiangan reinforced concrete box culvert in Liloan.
For the farm-to-market roads, the concerned local government units will take charge of the implementation of the project. For this, the amount of P15 million has already been downloaded to Tudela while another P15 million is scheduled for downloading to Tuburan.
The concreting of the Poblacion-Sangi-Bugho road in San Fernando started last Nov. 25. The project cost is P19,781,096.20. The P6,998,458.36 funding for the Bunlan-Camalig-Cabutongan road in Santander has also been downloaded to the LGU.
The other provincial roads are up for bidding on Dec. 2. Meanwhile, bidding for the P1.9 million box culvert project in Liloan is still to be scheduled.
