Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact Announced
Sony has recently unveiled its second flagship smartphone for 2014, the Xperia Z3 alongside a scaled-down variant of the flagship, the Xperia Z3 Compact at IFA 2014 technology show in Berlin.
Under the hood, both smartphones will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor with BIONZ image processing technology to help deliver high quality photographs, along with a 25mm wide-angle lens.
Both phones will also feature a 20.7MP sensor and Sony’s G-lens, and will be able to capture video in both 4K and Full HD quality.
Now, the only difference between both phones is that, the Xperia Z3 will feature a larger 5.2-inch Full HD display, while the Xperia Z3 Compact will come with a smaller 4.6-inch 720p HD display.
Both smartphones will come with PS4 Remote Play, which will be able to stream and play PlayStation 4 games away from the console.
Pricing of both phones have yet to be officially revealed but Sony claims that both the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact will launch globally in October.
