President Aquino to Visit Japan on June 24
Manila– Malacañang announced on Tuesday that President Benigno S. Aquino III will visit Japan on June 24, 2014 upon the invitation of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
In a press briefing, Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. said that President Aquino will travel to Japan on June 24 to deliver the keynote address at the JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) International Conference in Hiroshima.
Coloma added that before heading for Hiroshima, the President and the Prime Minister will hold a summit meeting over lunch at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Tokyo.
After speaking in Hiroshima, Coloma said the President will return home to Manila. (PNA) LAM/PTR
