Talisay Spends P4M for Road Make-Over
The Talisay City government has launched a massive asphalt-overlaying projects in its major roads, costing it millions at the first quarter alone.
The records of the Office of the City Engineering says that the road in barangay San Isidro, which spans for 5,100 square meters, is already completed. The project cost the city P4 million.
“Ato ibalik sa katawhan ang ilang buhis pinaagi sa mga project sama sa karsada ug uban pa. Dugay na pud ni nga request sa mga barangay nga ayuhon ang ilang mga karsada so atong gitabangan,” said Mayor Johnny V. de los Reyes.
There is another on-going asphalt-on going projects in Barangays Dumlog and Poblacion, and in the coming weeks the roads going to Tabunok will also get the same make-over.
The City Engineering Office is also set to implement the same project to the San Isidro-Dumlog stretch.
De los Reyes said he hopes to repair all the roads of the city’s 22 barangays.
“Dako kaayo na atong budget para sa mga kadalanan, ato na’ng gamiton para diha. Para pud makatilaw na ang katawhan sa Talisay sa ilang mga buhis. Ilaha man na,” de los Reyes said.
