Easy Ways to Detox
Toxins are everywhere. It can be difficult to avoid them, even if we try. They are poisons to the body that can manifest as hormonal imbalances, skin breakouts, gastrointestinal problems, inflammatory conditions, and cognitive problems. Stress can also increase the level of body toxins. The good thing is there are simple things we can do to cleanse our body.
1. Eat high fiber foods like broccoli, whole grains, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, green leafy vegetables, and tomatoes. Fiber helps increase your bowel movement, a natural way to detoxify.

2. Have some citrus fruits. Pomegranates and oranges stimulate the digestion and detoxification process. They also naturally reduce the levels of chemicals in the body.
3. Avoid alcohol, soda and cigarettes. Apart from their damaging effects, they also increase the toxins in the body, and can also cause plaque in arteries in your body.
4. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. It’s the most basic way to cleanse the body. Toxins are released from the through sweat and urine.
5. Drink coconut water. This can boost your immune system with its anti-viral and anti-fungal properties, improve your metabolism, and revitalize your cells.
