NGO Delivers Another Reliefs to Bohol
A non-government organization delivered its third batch of relief goods to Bohol on Monday.
Fr. Tito Soquiño, head of Knight-Stewards of the Sea, Inc. (Seaknights) said their next destination is Sagbayan, one of the towns hard-hit by last Oct. 15 killer quake. Soquiño said at least 500 families will receive rice, canned goods, biscuits and bottled water from their group.
This is the third batch of relief goods Soquiño’s group has delivered since the tragic day damaged a huge portion of Bohol.
Soquiño said the goods they are sending to the people of Bohol are from other people and groups who want to extend help to quake-hit Bol-anons. He said since they started shipping the reliefs to Bohol, more boxes of goods came to their office, hence they keep coming back to the province.
