110cc Above Motorcycles Can Now Pass CCLEX
CCLEX now allows motorcycles with 110cc above starting today, September 14, 2022.
To make the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) more inclusive for riders, the Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corporation (CCLEC) now allows motorcycles with 110cc and above to traverse the iconic bridge.
CCLEC has listened to the appeal of motorcycle owners that have motorcycles with lower engine displacements than 125cc.
“The decision also came after careful consideration and simulation inside the CCLEX. Additional safety features were also installed on the expressway,” the CCLEX Facebook post reads.
Motorcycles with 110cc to 399cc are classed as M1 and will pay a toll fee of P60.
Motorcycle owners can now avail their CCLEX RFIDs at the CCLEX Customer Service Centers near the Toll Plaza, Anjo World, and Landers Superstore for free. Walk-ins are accepted.
As CCLEX will soon implement a full-on, cashless transaction starting October 1, owners are encouraged to reload their CCLEX RFID accounts using the MPT Drivehub.
“Owners are encouraged to reload their CCLEX RFID account using the MPT DriveHub, which you can download at https://qrco.de/DriveHubPR-1, or at the CCLEX Customer Service Centers for a faster and seamless expressway experience.” (ASC)
