Third Bakunahan Commences in Cebu City
The third mass vaccination program kicked in Cebu City today and will end on February 11.
Cebu City Health Department Head Dr. Jeffrey Ibones said that the third Bakunahan will prioritize booster shots.
The Department of Health (DOH) has targeted to reach at least 58,000 jabs during the two-day Bakunahan.
During this activity, Cebu City will open 40 vaccination sites for cluster barangays, 11 of which are the already established sites to help cater more vaccinees in the city.
As of writing, Cebu City has logged over a million vaccinated adults, 82,512 children and teenagers aged 12 to 17, and over 6,000 children aged five to 11 who are planning to be inoculated. (ASC)
