PH Targets 700k Daily Jabs of COVID-19 Vax
The additional COVID-19 vaccines that arrived in the Philippines will help reach the targeted 700,000 daily jabs in the country.
National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 said that they are targeting up to 700,000 jabs daily for the third quarter of the month.
Last August 3, the country reached a total of 702,013 COVID-19 doses in one day, setting a new record for the highest jabs in one day.
Meanwhile, the shipment of the 260,800 doses of Sinopharm vaccine completes the 1,000,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine donated by Beijing.
The country is also expecting the arrival of Pfizer vaccines by the end of the month.
National Task Force (NTF) Against Covid-19 assured that there will be a fair distribution of vaccines in the country. (ASC)
